part time musician - I like having a collection
I like to have a collection to organize, to peruse, etc. I don't like having to go to an online service. Also, because I listen, in part to classical music, I still buy CDs (and would only want very high quality downloads which would have minimal compression, anyway).
About the only use for "ripped" mp3's is for use at the gym, when I'm not listening carefully and couldn't hear good vs. bad quality anyway. But at home, 128 is too low quality to listen to.
