I can only guess that you've never used OpenOffice.org under GNU/Linux? Pointless effort would be made to provide an e-mail client bundled with OpenOffice, when under most Linux distributions the e-mail client may be freely chosen, freely provided, and is in fact zero-cost. Choose one: MozillaMail, Thunderbird, Evolution, Kmail, and on and on.

You can chooose from Outlook or, errr, um... Outlook. Even if your company has standardized on say Lotus Notes; you need to buy a copy of an Outlook license just to get the best price for office? The mind boggles that one would prefer to pay for what one doesn't need than pay a zero cost and choose what is appropriate to one's needs?

(oh, and nice troll from that Microsoft marketting manual that was highlighted last week on Slashdot. It was so brazen, I chuckled before replying. Keep it up and someday we'll take you as seriously as Mike Cox.)
