Users Prefer WP
I hardly use a word processor myself but I distincly recall the outrage of people where I worked several years ago when they were forced to replace WP with MS Word. I don't know if WP has kept up with the times but back then WP was said to be superior in every way. It was a management decision to switch to MS Word, not a user decision. As far as Windows holding down 95% percent of the market, keep in mind that Windows is more fragemented than Linux. A large part of the 95% consists of old versions of Windows that are way over due for an upgrade. The question is, what will people be upgrading to. Do they care what OS they're using? OS's have become a commodity. Linux/WP is a good alternative.
