- I don't have the luxury of going to an office!

Have you ever heard of VPN? Okay now I use IM to chat with my boss and co-workers when I am in the field or working from home.
I also use it to talk to other programmers in Europe, Asia and the Eastern Seaboard. Using phone is nice except the issue of losing information and then the long distance costs.
IM is a cost effective way that I can send information, and record it no less! To my boss and fellow co-workers. It's a hell of a lot faster than e-mail and easier to find information in.
Yeah, face to face would be nice, but there are a lot of folks like myself, where that is not a possibility. Grow up, get with the times and get a clue.
