NOT Playing
IM isn't always "Playing."

When you work with software developers and testers that are working at other offices (some a few hundred miles away), IM can be the best solution. You don't have to arrange (or pay for) a 4-way conference call, you don't have to wait for e-mails to go back and forth between everyone, and you can just cut and paste when you are done, and then you have a log of everything.
