What's the difference?
Give away the code or letting someone copy your intellectual property, what is the difference? I work for a company that builds specialized routers and we are using Linux. Working with the current GPL v2 is acceptable, but v3 is not.

We use Linux because we found that the current licensing was acceptable but if the license changed then a licensed kernel such as VxWorks would become more attractive. I beleive that our opinion is common in the business world. Is that what you really want, to drive away the business community back into propritary kernels, to destroy your commercial support? Contrary to Stallman's religous view of the world business only uses Linux because it is profitable for them to do so, they have a choice and if too many people listen to Stallman he is going to screw up a good thing (but it will probably make WindRiver very happy).
