So what's your idea of an "idea?"
Are you talking about a windowed graphical user interface? Naw, it couldn't be that because we have to give credit for that to Xerox PARC.

Is it a way to provide information through the TCP/IP stack with a protocol called HTTP? No, not that one either. We have to credit NCSA Mosaic with that one.

Is it a way to provide control of the computer cursor with a little puck that provides a button? No, gotta try again.

Your words sound like a lot, but I can't imagine a company writing a whole new Windows, or even Word, without spending a hell of lot in R&D. And that's true of AutoCAD, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro (now that's a real good example as it has a whole lot of knock-offs and even MS wants to get into that game doesn't it?) and all of the other software vendors that have survived the market with the 800 pound, well you know.

No anton, your argument does not hold water and your strawman has had his legs thrown away by flying monkeys. Better try a tin man next time.
