Sounds like a lame release to me....
I don't see the enterprise demand here. One of my friends is an IT Manager of a Solaris shop. He showed me some of the features of Solaris 10 using some early software and I was none too impressed. The boxes were not running at capacity at all, most of them were running with plenty of available resources. There was no automatic update feature and they were running legacy Oracle 9i. The whole thing made me sick.
