- IBM should protect the innocent Linux users.

It's a good thing Linux and it's comunity has the support of companys such as IBM... meantime, while all this is all going on, end users have to defend themselves against bugus lawsuits.
IBM should STRONGLY push for an order stopping SCO from taking out Lawsuits as the court has not assigned any of the Unix Copyrights on source code. (SCO has asked the court to do this in it's complaint)
As a result, a good defense against these end-user lawsuits would be to ask for a delay until the IBM vs SCO lawsuit has been ruled upon. To sucessfully get a ruling against an end-user before then would be setting a dangerous precident!!!
