But few vertical applications
Very little vertical industry software, such as insurance agent pricing programs, marketing research survey/analysis programs, small business accounting programs that your CPA will interface with, etc. are available for Linux or Mac. It doesn't matter who has the best theoretical operating system if you can't get the work done that you use to earn your livelihood.

The subject is PDF files in Windows. Please quit the cheerleading for systems that aren't an option for most of us.
