Cross platform PDF printers
Linux has been providing Print to PDF capabilities for my company for years via samba, cups, ghostscript.

Print to PDF from any program that can print. Who needs MS or Adobe to provide functionality??

Even those of us bound to a Windows desktop can use Linux for free PDF printing.
