Thanks Adobe for screwing with one
While you're at Adobe, screw up Macromedia as well with you're magic touch. Go ahead and become AOL that has kicked its acquisitions into low gear or burned bridges. Actually, AOL and Adobe could merge better than AOL Time Warner. At least Time Warner was desiring to sink the ship.

MS, you'd have been better off splitting yourself into baby MSes sans a antitrust order to do so. You could have least ignored the likes of Adobe on this matter since they let everybody else in the world Save As minus the fee but seem to have you in the crosshairs. Oh well, doesn't matter much here, happy enough with just Office 2000 and PDFCreator, or even just OpenOffice. Maybe Adobe can sniff over SmartSuite or StarOffice for some commercial dollars. Or they can go back to their side project of getting entire websites to be a series of interactive pdfs for people to surf through.
