money is a short term goal...
these people have more money than they will ever need in their lives... money is no longer the issue.. it's control.
they want to keep their stranglehold control on the industry... they want to be able to make th eindustry bark and sit. as long as they dont' lose money while still keeping that power, i don't see them adapting... their loss, but i don't see enough motivation for them.. not right now. hopefully in the near future.
