Whadda know ... just like SCO!
Pause for a moment .... can you hear it? That is the sound of the RIAA member companies quaking in their boots. They know the jig is up for them. They'll never be totally gone as the do serve a purpose. They find new bands, put up the money to allow the bands to record their album in the studio, promote the album and organize large tours. That said, the days of forcing customers to buy an overpriced albumn when all the customer really wants is one or two songs are over. That is going to mean less money for the middle men in the long run and it's also going to mean less for those artists who put out one, two or three good songs and then fill the rest of the albumn with crap.
