Google Alert
I read that Google's new 'Web Alerts' are similar to the well-known Gogole Alert (www.googlealert.com) service based on the Google API.

Had a look at the two services. It seems that both are straightforward to use, but the more established Google Alert offers greater user control and more powerful deeper searching.
