To the Slammer with all Spammers!
The amount of time I have spent repairing the vandalism caused by spammers is unconscionable! I am not a "professional", but that doesn't mean my time is not valuable! I have spent considerable sums over the years fighting spam. At the immediate moment, I have one of the best desktop utilities I've ever purchased -- it does everything from "washing" my email to blocking Trojans, and blocking spy-way, to fighting viruses, to disk defragmenting and scan-disk. Yet even the best someone manage to provide loopholes. The last Trojan to rap my machine took me close to fourteen hours to thoroughly scrub. At length, even after invoking the Restore program, I ended up having to wipe my computer by hand, meticulously hounding filings that wouldn't allow me access because those files were being used. Just as vandalism is a crime punishable by time in the slammer; so, too, should be spamming! And I, for one, spread the news whenever and wherever possible about web sites that permit Trojan to lurk just behind their popup ads.
And the punishment should be SEVERE!!!
