I understand that you are against software piracy, but in a way it sounds like you are defending the act by criticizing the software companies for something that 1) has nothing to do with the subject at hand 2) I don't belive you know much about, although you assume to know how it all works. There are too many people in this world that think they are smarter about things than they actually are. Our convicted criminal is one of them.
For everyone who gets busted for pirtating software, music, movies, video games... goodbye and see you later. I have no remorse for these generations who think that everything on the internet or within USB cable's reach should be free. You are the ones driving up the prices at the software stores, music stores, movies theaters, etc. You are also dipping into developers/artists paychecks. What if someone starts dipping into yours? What would you do? What if the developers, music artists, actors, and actresses said screw it, we're done, and nothing new was ever produced again because all the leeching and self centered spoiled brat gotta have it all for free attitude just isn't profitable any more? Now is not the time to bring up how much any of these people or industries are making either - that is NOT an excuse to steal. If the prices don't fit your lifestyle, quit playing XBOX and upgrade your job, work harder, get smarter. But there is no excuse or exception for stealing, PERIOD. - Posted by: jason@...
