It's hard to argue...
with your statement. I certainly expect that the future will involve the use of computers for storing, organizing and then delivering video and audio entertainment to the player devices (TVs and Sound Systems). In fact, this is already happening. Today's DVRs are simply special purpose computers with hard drives. But that is where I think the future is. I don't see the PC as the place to deliver video and audio entertainment. I see special purpose computers such as today's DVRs handling this function. So maybe our differences are a matter of semantics.
