Steve Jobs has the right approach
that is, he made VERY good key decisions: use a robust
kernel for their platform and providing BOTH the flexibility/
power of command line AND GUI interaction to the users,
among others.

It is just TOO HARD to go up against multibillion $$$
Goebel PR machines, such as those owned by MS. On the
other hand, Apple has managed to pull it off, survive and
grow, even though it was in some desparate situation a few
years ago.

If other platforms had the same high visibility in outlets,
such as, Office/Home Depot, etc. as that of MS, then MS
wouldn't be the number 1 choice for home user PCs.
