This is my prediction on MS down the road if they are not busted up in the next few years by the Government. If the Feds have the guts to actually do something about it and are not bought off.

The items below I listed are already bundled into Windows except two or three things. But when Windows Longhorn ships out in 2005 or 2006 I bet all these things are weilded into the OS and can't be uninstalled if you don't want them.

In my humble opinion MS is trying to take over the internet and users computers and put 3rd party apps/software makers out of business. Thats just my opinion.

1. Internet Explorer
2. Windows Media Player
3. Windows Movie Maker
4. MSN Messenger
5. Microsoft Anti Virus
6. Internet Connection Firewall
7. New Search Engine

I will not upgrade to Windows Longhorn until I the consumer have the right to uninstall those middleware apps. I'll just use XP until it wont work and the look at Apple Mac or Linux.
