Sometimes Jobs, sometimes MS
When you ask "whose opinion do you hold most likely on the future" I have to say that both sides have had their wins and losses.

MS had the big win when they partnered with IBM on the IBM PC. Apple let the market slip right through their fingers because of their closed system design.

MS, on the other hand, very nearly missed the internet revolution. At the very least they showed up at the party very late.

On this convergence issue, however, I believe Jobs is absolutely correct. I completely agree with Jobs on every reason he gives.

I really believe that there is no way I will be sitting in front of my PC 10 years from now to watch TV. I will, however, have then, as I have now, a TV next to my PC so that I can both work/play on the PC and watch TV simultaneously. (Am I spoiled, or what?)
