- It is really too bad that people aren't responsible enough to take care of the Internet. Between uneducated users and vendors intent on ripping off consumers, the Internet has begun posing a threat to everyone. Now, the "powers that be" are stepping in with the idea (however wrong they may be) of regulating the Internet. In other words, to Babysit the masses. There will be no winners here. I guess the people love the idea of the Internet as a utility. They all love the current utility providers so much. What is one more wasteful utility? After all Bell is so wonderful and easy to work with. And they treat their customers so well. Keep up the good work, the Internet wasn't that important. Only idiots were using it anyway.
