The comment was about Open source in general. Microsoft has also refered to Linux as a cancer.

If Microsoft would use good practices and learn why people are moving to Linux and Mac they wouldn't be going out of business.

You can laugh but with Microsoft's business practices it should be over by 2015. By 2020 the empire will have fallin.
