What a Load...
How have we managed to get to this point anyway? People fail to remember that M$ is private institution providing a commodity. No, I'm not a M$ supporter, I use Linux myself. But where do governments and even the public get off trying to dictate what M$ or any company includes or excludes from thier product? ITS THEIR PRODUCT !! They don't HAVE to work and play well with others. If you use it you accept what it comes with, find something else or buy a Big Chief Tablet and a #2 pencil and get back to work.

No i'm not simplistic, when M$ or any other company uses strong arm tactics to manipulate the market then yes, I agree, intervention is required and no I don't belive that M$ hasn't done just that in several cases. But until then, build a better product and compete. I certainly don't agree with ANY company being forced to give up proprietary information for the sake of competition.

The whole thing to me is unAmerican and crushes the American spirit of free enterprise and ingenuity. You don't want it, don't buy it. The world is NOT Burger King. You can't always have it "Your Way".
