When Dell, HP etc. start really pushing Linux / *BSD variant OS's, then Microsoft will need to worry.
HP supporting Debian is a BIG plus, not only for Debian but its various derivatives as well (Knoppix, Libranet, Linspire, Mepis, Ubuntu & Xandros to name a few).
