- Decent Apps mean nothing

The User has to have reason to go and use Linux. Right now it's hobbiest, people wanting to learn, people ticked off with Microsoft and the curious.
If all you apps on Windows and the same quality apps on Linux are there too then why switch?
You need a reason and here are few.
If Microsoft OS Apps just gets too expensive
If Microsoft goes to rental system
If Linux gets a crucial app that Microsoft doesn't have
If DRM makes it too difficult to use Microsoft
Notice a lot of IFs. Theses haven't happened yet and who know if they will. MS software could get cheaper, rental software might work greate, Linux never gets that special App, and DRM works unseen to the user.
