As far as I am concerned, one of the very important functionality that a word processor has to have is the ability to render good looking fonts, that will enable me to type in text in different fonts making it more organized and readable. What is a word processor if it can not render text nicely ? Do the basic thing right; then go upwards. If fonts are not important to me, I could as well use one of those text editors like kedit, gedit etc.

Could you please tell me how do you do de-interlacing with mplayer ? Or have you never noticed the horizontal lines in video that results due to interlacing ?

Next time when I post my complaints about linux, on some of these forums, I will upload some screenshots on to my web page and provide links to them, so that you will know what I am really complaining about.
