Different results
First off, what is wrong with standards?? I wish more
people would realize standards is the only way to go
since I for one do like to have options.

Now, video editing may be true on Linux since I don't
do video editing. However, I do use Mozilla firebird
and Open Office and I have had different results when I
use these applications. Matter of fact, I liked Mozilla so
much I installed it on my Windows XP and Mac OS X
desktops as well. Never had any issues at all, and for
me has been stable. Also, I have no complaints
regarding Open Office. It works great on Linux and
Windows. I installed it for my neighbors since they
bought a generic PC and they had no issues with Open
Office.

So from my perspective, Mozilla Firebird and Open
Office has been a good for me and I do like the ability to
have these applications on different operating systems.
