Can you even imagine MS doeing something illegal?

I'm a bit worried about your buisiness ethics John. Remember me never to do buisiness with you if you feel that MS has no problems in the way they do buisiness now that it has been found guilty by the EU, the US and probably soon Japan.
Maybe it's time you put some question marks to your believes and re examine them. If it looks like s**t, feels like s**t and smells like s**t chances are it IS s**t. Or as they say in my, rural, part of the netherlands....If everybody is telling you you're a horse....it's time to buy a sadle.
