"Who wants to buy a version of Windows that is less capable than what is available .." Bsinesses want a less capable version of Windows, to name one group.

We need a version of Windows that is less capable of being hacked. A version of Windows that is less capable of screwing up installed software that competes with Microsoft's offerings. We need a less capable version of Windows that we can tailor to our needs.

Not everyone uses Windows for mind numbing web surfing, chat, and downloading bootleg music.

We can strip out Media Player and IE out of XP today using third party apps, but why should be have to go to the trouble and expense of doing that AFTER we have been forced to buy a bunch of insecure junk that we didn't want to begin with?
