who is fooling who??

as http://www.litepc.com shows (I'm running W98SE-lite for more than 5 years now), the OS can work without IE, Outlook or whatever. so, they are extra's on top of the OS!!
letting them be incorporated into the OS is bad news and bad business for every softwarebuilder out there (as netscape, which latest browser 7.1 I'm happily using, can testify).

hopefully the EU can enforce what the the American government couldn't or wouldn't.
