Imagine the amount of extra code the server and desktop software will have with all of these features built in. Do you really need media players for servers?

All these extensions into other applications might make things so called easier but it also makes for a a lot more fragile points which can cause problems in the future. If one thing malfunstions is it going to lock aup other parts of a system?
