Hey tic swayback, what about costs?
I agree with your pointing out that MS makes millions in
revenues on Mac Office, but I can't help playing CPA (Am one)....

The other side of the medallion is cost. How much does it cost
to reprogram and maintain Mac Office? If their return on
investment is below their overall return, the argument for letting
revenues go becomes more compelling. Why lower overall
profitability, and hence the stock price? From a corporate point
of view if there aren't more profitable alternatives to invest the
capital they need to 'produce' Mac Office, then the logical
alternative is to return this capital to shareholders. At least that
what Corporate Finance 101 tells us.

Just my 2 cents worth.
