MBU is too important to MS
No way do I see them dropping Office for the Macs - it's been
around (Word & Excel) even before MS delivered Win 3.1 and has
been delivering profits ever since.

The fact is that the programmers at the MBU are Mac Heads. Close
them down and you can't move them to Vista - lots would probably
go to competitors. Keep them around and they'll keep pushing the
guys on the Win side.
