Cable vs DSL

I'm located in the Notheast. I was totaly dissapointed with DSL when I switched from Cable to DSL. I went as far as switching phone companies, because the carrier I had did not provide DSL. Then the nightmare began. The service was, lousy I kept loosing my connection, I could not share my connection with my router and the tech service was terrible at best. I swtched back to Cable in a hurry. The price was the same at the time.
