DSL is pricier where I live
My cableco gets $49.95/mo for 500K symmetric access, 10GB/mo cap. Phoneco just introduced "Cheetah" DSL at 4 levels. Only the lowest is cheaper, and it's 256K up/128K down with a 2GB/mo cap ($39.95). Their 512K/256K is priced $54.95 with 3GB cap. Over the cap, the phoneco hits you for $10/half GB, or twice what cableco gets. $150 installation fee, and you have to be next door to the switch to get the highest speed DSL, at $280/mo! http://www.empiretelephone.com/dsl.html vs http://www.htva.net/internet.html
