DSL vs Cable vs Dish

I'd rather pay the old greedy phone company for DSL vs the other greedy and stupid creature called cable and its every unregulated need to increase price with fluff service, more infomaercials and less diverse rotating content. As for dish, haven't researched its merits or demerits, but still don't wish to deal with the externals of the new lawn or house jockey.
