Movies cheap ($5.50 now.)
The new low price has been set on some reasonably popular movies at $5.50 by walmart.

This makes me less likely to buy new releases since I know if I wait a couple months I can get the movie a lot cheaper.

Until two years ago it was different- it was cheaper the week it came out and then it was not cheap again. Movie market is so glutted that we are headed towards the physical cost of making the disk since anything over that physical cost is pure profit.
