Acrobat Reader isn't an issue
They are simply referring to the Adobe program called "Framemaker." And yes, there is a UNIX version.

Let's see. The Windows version costs $799. The Unix version costs $1,399. This is out of my budget for a program like this. Wonder why it doesn't sell for the MAC?....
