Adobe drops niche offerings & those with which Apple competes
It's very simple. Adobe dropped FrameMaker Mac
because FrameMaker is used for technical
documentation; not a stronghold for the Mac

Adobe dropped Premiere Mac because Apple has
strong video editing solutions

Adobe didn't do a Photoshop Album for Mac because
Apple has iPhoto. No DVD authoring because Apple
has iDVD and DVD Studio.

Etc.

So, Adobe hasn't shunned the Mac. They, like any
product company, are simply looking at markets where
they can win, lose, or is futile to play at all.
