Adobe being disengenuous
FrameMaker was never updated to OS X, like Premiere before it,
Adobe simply did not update it, so it died in the marketplace.
Of course sales are going to drop if the App is allowed to grow
old. That applies to Windows as well. Adobe has the money
and most of the users in this field are Mac users, but they are OS
X users now.

These kind of moves are only going to have Mac based creative
companies look for an alternative to Adobe, because they are
not sure when Adobe will drop the next App. Adobe is being
arrogant thinking the users will follow their lead. This has been
the mistake of every other popular software maker in the past
that eventually fizzled away.
