If left to the OEMs then don't expect too much change. There's no incentive for them to mess with the default install.
The pols might try to force choice on consumers but that's Europe's problem.
Consumers might be able to get their hands on a bootleg US version on hols. so not too sure how this choice is going to be enforced.
I'm sure the pols will think of something [stupid].
