Linux is great for games
It costs less to develope them on Linux than it does on Windows. Also if you develope on Linux then going to the PS2 Console is snap. Can't do this with Microsoft unless you have buckets of cash on hand making it a less desirable option in my opinion.

Linux has cool games that I just can't get for Windows. Nothing spectaclular just some cool little games. Windows used to have them but they've all but disappeared and all you can find no is the Win 9X versions which don't run well in Windows 2000 or XP. But with Linux the games work well and get updated by the people who love them so they run good on the newer distributions of Linux.
