- Michael, check out www.quik-trac.com. They have a Tracking solution that has been working with Nextel phones for months. It plots a position on a map every 30 seconds, if needed. It is dual mode and uses least cost routing if used in dual mode with EMS Technologies PDT-100 satellite tracking. It also has messaging to and from the phone or satellite devise. Check it out
