That answers my question...
I had asked prior if Windows 2000 users could install this. I just tried it on a full-patched, SP4 2000 computer. No good; it wants XP w/ SP2.

Frankly, that's horsechips. The file permissions affected by this are native to 2000, being the NTFS system. The only reason they coded it like that was to make everyone use their WGA program. I'm calling BS right now.
