Microsoft stole code from University of California
Multiple courts in the US have told Microsoft to pay the University of California for code it stole involving how active-x and Java is displayed through Internet Explorer. Unfortunately the courts forgot to tell Microsoft decision makers that removal of the code from Internet Explorer was not a remedy.

Today we have the gross miscarrage of justice in that Microsoft has removed the stolen code and replaced it with code that significantly slows down Java applets. This at a time when Java shines as faster than Microsoft's C code on the new Intel and AMD multicore business PCs. We who seak to change the culture of corruption at Microsoft to a culture of quality, run the benchmarks, collect the statistics and wait to be called as experts at the next US antitrust case against the criminal corporation. In the meantime we attempt to change policy at our organizations that prohibits the instalation of Fire Fox. There are many battles to fight. Pick ones you can win.

Note: the University of California is the lead plantif against Enron.
