Microsoft extends lifeline for
all their customers that they have abandoned when they axed support for Win98.

When MS announced that they were "retiring" win98 a lot of people asked why they didn't wait until Vista was released. Well, now we know.

Win98 -> Windows Fundamentals for Legacy PCs (WFLP)

Plus the cost of, at least, a workgroup server machine, some as yet unnamed MS data and app server OS and Client License packs. What a great deal -NOT!

Who wants to bet if the WFLP will be as secure as Win98? Not me.

This is about as great as MS Bob. I bet that it flops like a landed flounder.
