It will take a LOT

of hard effort and investment until longhorn becomes a
cash cow. So far it is just another s/w that is just as FAT as
a cow (which are very useful animals, contrary to MS
products)

LH is just WinFS and a new graphical engine Big DEAL! It
WILL be out in 2-3 years and then people will have to RE-
purchase all the apps that can work with it, etc.

MS has a LONG and STRENUOUS road ahead of it. This is
what the UNIX industry went through 15-20 YEARS ago.
There is no other way out.
