I was going to mention the difficulties involved in rendering the five-dimensional glyphs used by the inhabitants of 6-Vega, not to mention the color-based modifiers used by the hexachromats of 4-Rigel, but I see you were using the term "universal" in reference to just the Earth.

Never mind.
