I'll tell you why...
"So what is a potential business partner with Microsoft to think. Tomorrow the EU is certain to have more bad news for the company and today, well Sunday, there was a huge advertisement requesting applicants for positions across the board at Microsoft with the exception of C sharp programmers."

If you get the inside scoop...there's alot of discontent among the rank and file. They're tired of inept management, long hours, and underwater stock options. They're tired of mediocre technology, being viewed as "bad guys" by the tech world and standards bodies. And...they're seeing some of the free-lancing opportunities dry up. So there are fewer opportunities to jump ship and be their own MS consultancy. This latter is because M$ was too late to the open standards game and the most widely adopted OSS software is what large enterprises are using. MS products are still there, of course, but it's push and play installations. They own the desktop OS, the Exchange/Outlook sectors, and Office. Most app development is now web apps. MS not required there.

So, with all these decreasing propositions, many M$ devs are actually leaving. This is in fact, a large part of the reason for the lengthy Vista and Office 2K cycles - employee turnover and amalgamation of new staff. They won't ever admit it. But if you know people, you find these things out.

Do NOT use this, it will be hosted on a bloated, insecure, bug ridden OS.  DonnieBoy | 07/11/06

The problem is that MS needs to develop a light, secure, stable OS.  DonnieBoy | 07/11/06
